How our Pilates sessions at home in London works?
The goal of Pilates is to help strengthen your entire body, but emphasis is given to the core muscles and breathing. This is achieved by performing gentle and slow movements and keeping postures for an amount of time. Because it is low impact and doesn’t put pressure on joints, it is suitable for pretty much anyone irrespective of age or current fitness level.
It is particularly beneficial for women who have recently given birth and want to gain back their abdominal and pelvic floor strength, especially if they suffer from diastasis. Strengthening the pelvic muscles will also help rehabilitate any incontinence caused as a result of labour.
It is recommended that new mothers wait for at least 6-8 weeks after giving birth before starting to exercise, as starting earlier might cause more harm than good.
We are covered by most health insurances and are Bupa recognised and axa ppp recognised
